Tae Kwon Do

Another layout I did back in November while scrapping with friends.  For this layout I had to step out of my comfort zone to use a colour I don't usually use - yellow.  It is not my favourite so I rarely use it on layouts, but with all those yellow mats and the yellow wall in the photos I didn't really have much of a choice!  I chose to use mainly black and white with touches of yellow and ended up pleased with the way it turned out.

Gingerbread House

This is a double layout I did back in November at a scrapbooking weekend away with friends.  I decided to use a fairly clean style for this one but couldn't resist stamping the flourishes in the corners :)  I also couldn't resist making the cute cork gingerbread man to finish it off!

This layout is for Amy's album and of course I also had to make another layout the same for Laura's album!

We had such fun making this gingerbread house for Xmas - hard to believe it's such a long time ago.

Get Picky Challenge #15 - New Year

Get Picky's New Year challenge is to think about what we might resolve to do in the New Year and I thought that doing a layout on my scrapbooking resolutions for 2012 would be a great start to the year and a way to motivate myself to carry them out, so here it is!

Update

It's been ages since I last blogged due to moving house (3 times as we moved to Mum's, house sat for a month and then back to Mum's until our new house is ready!) and have had internet connection problems.  With all the moving around I haven't really had much time to scrapbook except when I went away with some friends for a weekend of scrapbooking at the end of November - I will post some of my layouts from the weekend soon.

I did make a quick card for my mother-in-law's birthday in November using some new paper lace and a foiled calendar from Merci and some gorgeous butterfly Mariposa paper by DCWV.

Can't get the photo to turn around but you get the idea!
